Der kürzlich verstorbene Prince in Bestform und bei bester Laune. Uns ist keine bessere Konzertaufnahme von Prince bekannt. Es werden hier alle drei Konzerte geboten, die Prince 2013 beim Montreux Jazz Festival mit seinen hervorragenden Bands New Power Generation und 3RDEYEGIRL gespielt hat.

Auf den ersten beiden DVDs ist so viel Funk und Spiellaune zu hören, dass es kaum auszuhalten ist. Einfach genial. Auch was The NPG Hornz bieten, musikalisch wie showmäßig, ist erste Sahne. DVD 3 zeigt Prince von einer anderen Seite.
